Lunch at The Red Bud, a new place on the west end of Hayfork, reputed to have good wood-fired pizza. We were really looking forward to pizza, but it doesn't start until 2 p.m. because it takes the oven that long to get properly fired up.
The Red Bud has a very congenial outside eating area, though. We'll be back for pizza.

A local on the way to Hyampom.
It is not true that the road to Hyampom is "finished'. There is a long gravel stretch (how long we don't know - we turned around). Road work M-F 6 am - 6 pm.
